If this land is used for ruminant feed, the soil's CO2 emissions are worsened by adding burp-methane CH4.

The benefits of building. This 12 GW power line could carry all Spanish solar generation to Finland. It was built in 3 years. Western democracies used to think and build big. If we don’t start again, prosperity will erode and perhaps democracy with it.

Most of Ireland's uplands are commonage, ie co-owned by local farmers.
The ONLY real income from commonage is via subsidies, almost always for ecosystem-killing sheep. This is why Irish mountains are all empty wastelands, kept that way by your taxes.
Why are we STILL not paying farmers to rewild??

The Dutch offshore wind programme is in trouble. While 4.5 GW is in operation and another 1.5 GW under construction, the plan was to rapidly build out capacity to 21 GW by 2032. That is now out of reach.
