Some weeks feel like years, don’t they? Ever get the sense the world is spinning faster than your brain can process?

Ten years ago this month, the Paris Agreement reshaped global climate politics, bringing climate change into our media, our policies, our everyday lives.

While the Global South faces floods, droughts, and deforestation, Exxon spread confusion instead of solutions.

A deliberate campaign to delay climate action, protect profits, and undermine cooperation.

It’s time to hold Big Oil accountable.

EU funding for agriculture should help the planet, not harm it 💶

France’s #CAP plan breached EU soil standards 🪱 yet the @ec.europa.eu approved it. @clientearth.bsky.social challenged that decision… and won! ⚖️

This ruling marks a milestone for environmental accountability in the EU 🎉

The #ClimateCrisis doesn't wait, nor doesn’t care about accounting tricks!

Yet today, national governments took aim at the #2040Target, choosing short-term political convenience over scientific integrity, environmental safety, and societal responsibility👎

🔥 What happens after Europe’s NGOs are dismantled?

Last week, @alemanno.bsky.social mapped how civic space in Europe is being suffocated – how NGOs die.

This week, we asked the next question: what happens when they do?

EU climate policy needs clarity, not compromise

Tomorrow EU governments decide their demands for the #2040target. We need at least a 90% net emissions cut, not hesitation or accounting tricks ❌

If the EU wants to see global #ClimateAction it must lead the way, or risks losing credibility at #COP30

After polluting the water of 350,000+ people in Italy for decades, the Miteni factory (closed in 2018) was dismantled… and rebuilt in India!

This isn’t cleaning - it’s relocating and deepening the PFAS disaster!

#Plastic recyclers are under pressure

Europe produces far more plastic waste than our system can handle, and #recycling alone cannot fix it

Hazardous substances hinder recycling while harming people and planet

The way out of this is making less, safer and longer-lasting plastics

Is Europe’s heating transition finally back on track?

✅ Heat pump sales grew 9% in early 2025, bouncing back after a 32% drop in 2024.

✅Germany, once the epicentre of disinformation against heat pumps, is now leading the rebound. Sales are up 50%, and heat pumps have overtaken gas boilers.

💧 Europe’s water is choking on #pollution - and the Commission wants to loosen the #NitratesDirective instead of fixing it.

Allowing 50% more nitrogen from manure means more runoff into our water, more algae, less clean water.

We cannot handle more pollution.
