I couldn’t comprehend how so many people supported what happened to Jews, LGBTQ PEOPLE, & others during the holocaust until today. I used to think most Germans just didn’t know, but I’m doubting that narrative now.

Wired is doing the most right now!

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

We need action. If anyone has ideas, please share below
We are living in very dangerous, unusual times.

Today, the White House ignored a ruling by a Federal District Court because we have President who is an ignorant buffoon with no respect for the law or the Constitution.

THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!

We are not talking enough about how the Trump/Musk admin are flat out ignoring court orders. Last night, a plane with more than 200 Venezuelans landed in El Salvador, after a US District Judge ordered the Trump administration not to. 🧶

That’s cute 🥰

It’s time.
I don’t mean to be a downer here, but the constitution isn’t going to save us.
Wake up.

Last night's Pentagon massacre is much more than realized. Not just firing the black CJCS and first woman CNO but all the senior JAG officers and hiring a man who just joined 3 different crypto firms tied to Kushner and Thiel as Chairman. I did a deep dive into it open.substack.com/pub/fpwellma...
This is the most dangerous move yet

Fully agree
I’m telling you @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social, please watch this. This is the energy. Not egg prices and book tours and strongly worded letters. It’s time to take the gloves off.
Teachers teach. We need a leaderful movement, and there are leaders all around us.

Could someone place an order for 100 more Jasmine Crocketts for overnight delivery to the Democratic Party

thx in advance
Crockett: "It's just that they're idiots. These are the same guys as it relates to our nuclear stockpile, they're like, 'Oh, wait a minute, we needed those guys? Can we get them back? Oh, we don't know how to.' I don't know how anyone can look at this administration & feel a semblance of confidence"

If you claim to be a leader but are too scared to lead, fine -- sit down and let someone else take your place. It is easy to be bold when there is no threat.

Now is a time for courage.

💯 this
I think the reason people are frustrated with Democratic leaders is that they expect these elected representatives to act like a real disaster is happening, which it is. Four-day weekends and bratwurst junkets in Munich kind of undercut that

Letters went out to federal workers this morning stating they were fired due to poor performance. However, all employees had been rated as “exceptional” performers by their supervisors. Please keep these records and pursue wrongful termination claims. Let the lawsuits begin.

I don’t think Dems realize how much damage they are doing to themselves right now.
Where you at Dems ? You fighting to get them far better severance or going to ignore them, and all others in similar circumstances?
Termination notices going out this afternoon to more than 300 employees of the National Cancer Institute. Access likely ends today. Four weeks paid leave and that’s it.

Strong power move for Team Cancer.

I’m starting to feel so helpless, people I talk with are depressed, too. Why send people to Congress if they aren’t going to fight when we need them to? We need more than words & lawsuits RIGHT NOW. People are losing hope, & that doesn’t end well for anyone.
February 13, 2025 at 8:48 PM
And the Democrats are doing fuk all. (Well, they do post words & hold press conferences I guess)
If you’re wondering if you’re in a constitutional crisis and that the republic could collapse at any moment, you are.

America is fkd.
I saw the Kanye ad yesterday (it aired in the Philly market, where we were) but didn't click on the link.

Today I found out it went to a website selling swastika T-shirts.

This was a Superbowl ad.

And it was to a website selling swastika T-shirts.

I feel like I'm losing my mind.
