Really important piece to share widely. Too many Americans don’t know how severe a threat this Administration poses to our scientific infrastructure, global leadership, and health security

Found out that TWENTY emails is considered a lot to politicians on an issue.

TWENTY.

As in, they call that getting slammed.

So next time you see a request to email your rep, or call, keep that in mind.

TWENTY is a lot.

I sincerely don’t know why people aren’t physically stopping those dorks. Move shit. Lock doors. Lose the keys. Everyone switch seats. Turn off all the lights. Switch the signs on the elevator lobby. Make the settings all silly. Use a different language. Wear costumes. Fill rooms with balloons

I started using Libby through my library a few years ago and now I am constantly listening to audiobooks. It has changed how I “read” books and got me back to my love of reading.

Libraries rule!
You might not know this but your local library probably has an app where you can borrow ebooks and audiobooks, for free! Some have apps that let you borrow digital comics too.

My library subscribes to Borrowbox and it's great, I constantly have 2-3 audiobooks on loan.

Support your local library!

Measuring topographic change at volcanoes is really important! Topographic data are used in modeling volcanic hazards and monitoring deformation. Volcanoes are dynamic environments so we need to update these datasets frequently. (1/5)
