Alien fever dreams fuel Peruvian grave robbings
Nazca is known for salt flats that dehydrate and preserve human and animal remains, making it the site of important finds that have deepened modern understanding of ancient cultures – and attracted grave robbers.

Digital/data literacy is a core need for practicing archaeologists, and something that has been the subject of many of our articles.
Modern-Day Oracles or Bullshit Machines?

Jevin West (@jevinwest.bsky.social) and I have spent the last eight months developing the course on large language models (LLMs) that we think every college freshman needs to take.

Sometimes I am reminded of Heritage Mall. Every time I think about such a rad place that I legitimately miss, I also get angry. Because it makes me think about how much this city, that I love, sucks at preserving its contemporaty past. #yeg
