I am between two different projects for my MFA in creative writing: a novel about a mentally-ill New England man who starts to suspect he's a vampire with suppressed memories or an adult picture book about rodent-Catholicism and unlocking eldritch rodent horrors. Aw thanks! I block in a lot of these sketchbook paintings using leftover paint on the palette. Those cool, vibrant tones are rare for me, but they're fun

👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻They were cruising around my neighborhood this AM, “escorted“ by a cyclist and several honking cars. I did a donation drop-off at one of the centers this afternoon and believe me, no one there who needed food and diapers thinks there’s a ”draw down“ or positive change of any kind. 😡
Predicting that this week we’ll hear more conciliatory words from the Administration regarding Minnesota (since they’re starting to realize that ICE has become politically toxic) but everyone outside of Minnesota needs to know that nothing on the ground has changed.
