turning the dirty thirty soon and want to thank the folks who worked with me to get my art out there. it was a goal to get my writing published before 30, and after i turned 29 last year, panic set in. this year i got published 4 times and shortlisted a few times. it means more than i can express

There was a piece in the artbook that just wasn't sparking joy. The storytelling was lacking and the visuals were too similar to a few other pieces. So I found the old sketch it was based off and redid it.

I like to think pacas are an example of convergent evolution with another small forest-dwelling herbivore: eohippus

I mean pacas even have little hooves! Would South American rodents re-evolve into horses given enough time? I'm prepared to run the experiment myself if need be
