I cannot sufficiently underline how despicable it is that the IOC has required Haitian Olympic athletes to remove an image representing the leader of the Haitian Revolution (against SLAVERY) from their uniforms.

it wasn’t Border Patrol or ICE arresting clergy for peacefully protesting, it was a police department in MN. it’s police in MN using weapons of war to disperse crowds outside hotels where ICE agents sleep. no MN cop put renee good’s killer in cuffs or stopped alex pretti’s killers from fleeing.

I’m moved by how many people across the country are gaining skills in deescalation, witnessing, documentation, and verifying ICE activity.

It’s a small part of a larger non-carceral ecosystem that raises awareness, builds community, and has the potential to transform society.

The people who are saying shit like "well it's either this or the borders are totally open" are doing their best to convince America that we should have completely open borders.

Can we get a boost on this in #mapoli?
February 10th. Please help spread this among your networks. Pack the courtroom on the day Ashley Spring & I face a jury trial.

@prisonculture.bsky.social can you help us amplify this flier? ❤️

Thank you #TenPeopleOnTwitter for saving Boston from bankruptcy. Our idiot ex-Mayor and ex-Governor were all in, till you all rose up.

The other day I was all over any nuance of stories being pro-Susan Collins. Today I’m not tolerating people falling for the “cop as hero” story.

What’s that saying? once a day a broken clock is right. That’s what you are seeing. Also, Collins & cops are proven liars. Also read the details.

You can’t spell police without ICE, and you best not forget that folks. They are the same picture.
I’m *extremely concerned* about the way folks are reforming their image of the cops in light of everything that’s happening, even though we only have a handful examples of them disagreeing with ICE, while still being responsible themselves for the murders of Black and brown people across the country

We might need to just hold in January until we can raise enough money to pay everyone’s rent and figure out TPS. So we get forever January 2025.

We’re now in a place of not great choices.
How is it still fucking January?

The way that Frey & Walz are portrayed by most national outlets is so telling of the mainstream media and, in general, how absolutely low the bar is for Dem Mayors & Governors

Lots of people, especially women, called out and/or had to leave their careers because of widespread sexual assault and harassment in the academy.

We did not benefit from mentorship, money, or favors by pretending it was not happening in the moment or in retrospect.

Look at the co-authors. JFC

we are not demanding a change in tone. we are not “tone policing” the police. our demand is to abolish the police. our demand is clear. there is neither nuance nor ambiguity.

ICE is camped out at a free clinic/food shelf on the Northside if you'd like to see how de-escalation and targeted enforcement is going.

We should also note the incredible naïveté involved here, likely due to these folks having positive, privileged interactions with the police in the past.

What I’m saying is: this is an anomaly and we can’t expect the cops to save us

water leaks into car from melting snow, rain. not sure it’s fixable. living in car is my only option after temp paid indoor stay ends 31 Jan.

i don’t want to live in a car. i’m scared. i don’t have another option.

a fully-funded GFM makes safer options possible. please share.

i literally can’t understand how rich people keep their money. giving people money they need to stay fed and housed is the most amazing feeling.

i wish everyone of you that have donated got to experience the gratitude of the people you are helping.
