Happy book release day to my dear friend Kelly Foster Lundquist! Her new book, Beard, is an impossibly beautiful memoir, full of humor, food, pop culture references, and so much compassion for her ex-husband and her past self. I can't recommend this book highly enough.

Just listened to this super late last night. It’s so lovely. I might need to get new poetry books soon… 🐠
If you give me 3 minutes, I'll tell you about and read you a poem from Unalone (Four Way Books, 2024) by Jessica Jacobs. :)

Since I live in a place without colorful leaves or colder weather to make it feel like fall, our fall issues are my favorite harbingers of the season. This Fall 2025 issue is full of earnest language and surprising humor, and these pieces are packed with autumn.

It’s been some time since my old YouTube poetry readings, so I’m really looking forward to chatting with poets about their own poems as well as the poems that inspire them. Recordings are starting now for the mid-October launch! 18 poets lined up for our first season

Hot take: Not only are work requirements for Medicaid bad, tying health care to work at all is cruel and we should be doing it less not more.

Everyone deserves health care. Everyone.
