New favourite daily routine: gently scooping up Flora the deaf-blind baby guinea pig, popping her in a laundry basket lined with towels and getting her (a) used to my smell and (b) comfy with being stroked/scratched. She is a cutie pie. I want to nibble on her pink ears.

Got home in time to see Flora the Baby Pig having a drink from one of the water bottles so I can officially relax knowing she’s not going to die of dehydration. I’m hoping she’s memorised where they are, so she can find them again. We had a celebratory cuddle. She’s adorable. ☺️

Got all riled up this morning after seeing some arse on LinkedIn respond to someone’s “I’m heading out on Maternity Leave” update. Apparently Maternity Leave is unfair because the people who step in to cover Mat Leaves on fixed term contracts have to leave when the person returns to work.

Meet Flora (aka Flo). The newest addition to the herd. She is an adorable wee albino baby who has severe visual and hearing impairments, which don’t seem to put her up nor down. I’m leaving her to explore the pig palace and get to know the others. So far, the big pigs are behaving impeccably.
