I wrote two travel/memoir books. I edit for a living but I mainly post about dogs.
Ways in which the dog park is better than the workplace:
✅ People drop off groceries when you're sick
✅ Mutual dog-sitting duties
✅ No performance reviews
✅ Pats
✅ Boops
✅ Bleps

Good things about the workplace you can get from dog park:
✅ Casual chats that are easy to make excuses to get away from if need be
✅ Friendships with people you wouldn't have met otherwise
✅ Christmas party where someone disgraces themself (pictured: Toki being scooped off the table)

I have many, many favourite Kudelka cartoons but this, from 2011, is possibly one of the best Aus pol cartoons ever drawn.

Nothing I like better than curling up on the couch with a good book by multiple pen-name publishing machine
Not only is this White South African woman stealing from other authors to write her own work, she is also selling a workshop on how you too can learn how to steal from others to build your empire, for the low, low, low price of a thousand USD

"Where are your citations?"

Kenny now has a girlfriend at the park, her name is Tilly and they are the same age (18 months, ie teenagers) and equally bonkers. She is besotted with him.

I do think CS Lewis was on to something when he wrote about the lure of being in the Inner Ring. (“Of all the passions, the passion for the Inner Ring is most skillful in making a man who is not yet a very bad man do very bad things”)

Of the three men I loved when I was 20, I've sadly lost Nick Cave and Morrissey; please stay cool, Robert Smith.
Question for the Skyline: What was your HARDEST "cancel"?? Like the actor/singer/athlete that was the hardest to drop.

I feel like it's always people I don't fw getting canceled so it's never really a loss.

The hardest one was maybe TI because I actually liked multiple albums by him.

Mind you I don't think Quentin Crisp had dogs that habitually covered all the floors in layers of fur, chewed sticks and eviscerated fluffy toys

I think Herzog should be allowed into the country. I think he should be warmly welcomed. Aguirre, Wrath of God and Fitzcarraldo are fantastic films, and even Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans is pretty underrated.
