We should keep reminding the world that Stalin supported creation of Israel so that the tankies keep having to face existential dread over that fact.
If USA remained supportive of Arab interests, and Israel was as pro-Soviet as Stalin hoped, you bet they'd be claiming now that Gazans deserve it.

the backlash to the slop fest will be hard to overcome. everyone parading AI as a miracle is so pathetic and obtuse no one will want to use ai tools even if they work.
once again, I’m actually not one of those people who thinks that LLMs and “AI” tools are inherently useless, but I do think our society is currently rolling them out in the most wildly irresponsible and dangerous way possible, in a fashion that is pretty much guaranteed to produce massive backlash

What Pope Leo should do is pretty simple: demand to visit Gaza, wait for Israel to say they're letting him do a tour (assuming they can put on a show), let them announce it and then thank them for letting him in on the freedom flotilla. Just screw them on this one

I think Superman brought that building down on that IDF grunt. I mean she was digging away at it with earthmoving equipment, but surely we can say that Superman was *spiritually* responsible. If he'd just said he supported Israel, none of this discourse would have happened

I'm fully in favor of clumsily shoehorning Matt Reeves' grounded, gritty Batman into the main DCU with a Silver Age, dimension-hopping, kaiju-fighting Superman. Batman has always felt weirdly out of place next to his super-powered peers, so I say embrace it.
