It was worth the four hour drive to LA to listen to @maddow.bsky.social and 2 sets of panelists connecting her new podcast Burn Order about Japanese Imprisonment to current ICE raids, desire to end birthright citizenship and more. My dad loved Rachel and I was thinking of him all day today.

Happy Sunday California! You got to sleep an extra hour now Go Vote. In Kings County, Voting Centers are open 9am to 5pm in Hanford, Corcoran, Lemoore and Avenal. There are also ballot boxes too.

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

I just saw this on @maddow.msnbc.com and got teary with pride. I wish reps would hold more town halls. My GOP rep David Valadao has not and I ask most days.
There’s something happening in this country.
