Yep, one of the biggest drivers of the elite panic around “wokeness” was the increasing prominence of Black people and particularly Black women in their fields and we’re seeing that coalition rewarded with the targeting of Black workers.

We need representation by people who’ve had student loans. Who’ve been deluged by medical bills, owned used cars or relied on public transportation. Who’ve actually shopped in a grocery store. Who’ve tried to sign up or help someone sign up for government services. People that don’t own stock.
