BARTIROMO: Could the president just implement an executive order to get the SAVE Act across the finish line going into the midterms?

REP. MARK HARRIS: That's a great question. I don't know the answer to that, quite frankly.

Some people really need to go become hermits, survive on locusts and wild honey, emerge disheveled and bearded after years to proclaim their visions. But you can’t do this anymore. Now all these people have podcasts.

25 years ago, a bunch of libertarians moved to NH to take over state government. Jason Osborne, one of those "Free Staters," has since risen to be majority leader in the state house.

How is he fighting for "liberty?" By helping Stephen Miller build a 324,000-foot prison for migrants and refugees.

If you are wondering what words the all-male Congress found so "blasphemous" that they felt compelled to literally scrape them off the monument, they were: ''Woman, first denied a soul, then called mindless, now arisen, declared herself an entity to be reckoned.''
On this day in 1921, Congress reluctantly accepted a sculpture memorializing women’s 19th A victory. Congress relegated the memorial to the Capitol’s crypt & painted over the feminist inscription. The statue stayed entombed in the crypt for 76 years. The inscription is still not restored. #WeTheMen

“What if we simply ignored both the racism and the violence against women” is a very popular approach to a lot of things, and I think one has to wonder both why that appeals so strongly and also, once that desire is fulfilled, what’s left.

“False herring” is stupid, but the most dishonest & manipulative word here is “now.” As if this is some novelty. But warrants for entering homes, like cops who show their faces & badges, is how we’ve done things for 250 years. The radical novelty is suggesting we STOP doing these things.
Emmer: "It's a false herring for these guys to suggest, 'Oh, we now we need a judicial warrant,' because they know that that's going to delay any enforcement of the actual administrative warrant."
