In retrospect, the dumbest thing I’ve said in the last week was in reference to the safety of my parked car, which happened to be ridiculously full of snacks:
“As long as there’s no bears in Chicago, I’m not worried about a break-in.”

Packing and cleaning and still finishing title lettering and getting new (used) tires and scanning every single last thing for the assembly I have conscripted someone else to do while I drive for 12 hours tomorrow. Yipes! (The IV drip of coffee started at 4am because sleep wasn’t happening anyways)
