I'm so glad that every young person seems to want to move to River North/Streeterville/etc when they move to Chicago, because they can self-contain in the West Elm-furnished rat box apartment hell while the rest of us actually enjoy living in the city.

That's not speculative or circumstantial, it's a cold hard proven fact, in and of itself more than enough to demand removal from office.

Oh wonderful. Instagram and I presume meta more widely will force personalization of ads in a unilateral move. No more opting out. It's just there from when the new terms and conditions take effect.

As someone who experimented with metas a bit, I can't get over the open camera lens just being a constant privacy violation. It doesn't matter that there is an led indicator light, it's just weird having a lens open all the time. Without a lens cover, it's just too creepy.
