Interesting!
Can add from Sweden that Gripen E is completely new generation, no upgrade from Gripen C. Thats why Sweden switch.
But it is partly made to beat Russia and to function in cold climate + can use Meteor and Taurus missiles.
But not made to support US attacks on foreign countries.

Seems really concerning that the head of the ECE college does not know the scope of ECE’s work.
This is painful to watch.

Ouch. Ayoye.

The person Doug Ford has appointed to the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators doesn’t know what ECEs do.

You’ll be surprised to learn that Julie O’Driscoll is a Conservative donor and former comms director for MPP Steve Clark, who resigned amid the Greenbelt land swap controversy.

This woman is my hero. I appreciate her and all her efforts to try to help Ontarians. If you're in a riding and that can give the NDP more seats, please vote accordingly. We need to take voting more seriously. I hope in Ontario we are actually learning a lesson. Get out and vote Ontario. #onpoli
Bill 60 is open season on renters.

It gives corporate landlords more power to hike rents, evict tenants, and squeeze families who are already stretched thin, all while Ontario is dead last in home-building.

I couldn’t disagree more with Mr. Jiavani. I grew up in a busy household with two working parents, school lunches were a stress point. When I was an exchange student in France I was so surprised to see free healthy lunches in the schools. It was amazing, I ate healthier and no one was left out.

What a great idea to index minimum wage to inflation
The UCP voted down the NDP’s proposed amendments to increase minimum wage and index it to inflation.

Shapiro: He rose to some prominence by writing a book about growing up in Appalachia, where there are a whole lot of people who get SNAP. He made millions of dollars off telling their stories, and then he turned his damn back on those very people he likes to write about and claim as his own.

It would pretty cool to innovate ourselves out of this mess.
This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.
China’s CO2 emissions have been flat or falling for past 18 months, analysis finds

Trump's tariffs are hurting us in two ways:

First, the obvious: Higher costs → either lower profits or higher prices.

Second, more subtle (perhaps bigger): We’ve signaled we’re an unreliable partner, so allies are reorganizing supply chains to avoid us. That's hard to unwind.
