So this is an interesting way of making music that I was not really aware of until now. Not sure I feel like reading documentation to do anything with it in the immediate...but maybe a fun project for a rainy day. strudel.cc

Talking with another operator yesterday and the cube came up, which prompted me to explore the options inside it a little deeper. Didn’t realize this came with a built-in contact logger. Not sure if this is the most efficient way to go about it, but so dope that it’s baked in.

Every artist needs a real one in their corner to say
"that shit was so ass but I'm so proud of you - keep going"
MY 12 year old little brother just showed me a song he made 🥹

It was really ass but I’m so proud of him for wanting to learn to produce 💕💕

If I organized a meet-up for radical trekkies to discuss radical Star Trek, why we love it, and how we want to engage with the struggles of our real-world moment, here, in Chicago, how many people would show up?

Nothing like finding an old-but-useful piece of tech in your closet, looking up a video on it, and the first result returned being from "Retro Gadgets" 😩

Learning to DIY a cranberry sauce is one of my favorite kitchen things I've done. I make a mean one with cognac, orange juice, champagne, cardamom, and frozen berries and it is goooood.

But I'll never forget who held it down when I was growing up 😤😤 You'll never take my canned goop from me.
My #SuperlativeCannedGoo tweet from the old place is making rounds again. Support co-op cranberry growers!

I'm sad that the folks in Charlotte have to deal with these goons, but I'm VERY proud that they're carrying the banner we hoisted (and are still hoisting) here in Chicago.

Incredible video from Reddit (too large to upload the screencap). CBP agents attempt to detain a flower vendor and end up getting chased into a vacant lot by a crowd of teenagers. What a bunch of impotent sad sacks.

dystopian ass weather report
Chicago may experience less tear gas use as Operation Midway Blitz winds down. Cold and wet weather reduce effectiveness, while wind adds unpredictability.

Hi, it's me - your annual reminder to not give the Salvation Army a fucking dime this bell-ringing season.
It’s dinner time for the police. Appears to be pizza from a Salvation Army van.

Broadview’s “free speech” curfew starts soon, at 6pm.

Drone had a rough spill last week, but a little tinkering got it back up and over the water. Gonna be nice to get back to using it to deploy the EFHW wire up on chilly days like today.

Good evening from the Des Plaines River (and my frozen popsicle hands).
