I hope people understand that if Trump gets his way America will soon be part of the global axis of evil if we aren't already. You see it in the Caribbean, you see it in Ukraine, and you see it with Trump trying to buddy up to Xi. We are a malevolent force.

🚨 Today, I formally introduced articles of impeachment against Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

RFK Jr. has turned his back on science and the safety of the American people. Michiganders cannot take another day of his chaos.

"Conservative" is the wrong label for the people trying to squelch freedom of so many people, along with facts, science, ideas, democracy, and equality. In fact, they may be condemning their own offspring.

Political corruption. Vast inequality. Giant monopolies. Ultra-wealthy elites. Conspicuous consumption.

These problems defined the Gilded Age of the late 1800s. And they're dominating America again today.

But we have the power to fight back. https://youtu.be/Nmq7QqqY4vo?si=F3dxZcPJJRcBXB1O

I've been teaching the Canterbury Tales, focusing on social disparity, for years. The parallels between the Dark Ages and NOW are wretched. The powerful didn't give a shit about the suffering of others in 1400, and they give less of one in 2025. Difference is: WE know better.

In every corner this administration, with support of the Court, is tarnishing democratic institutions & laws made since the latter 19th C. to improve integrity, equity, science, & equality for all. It's deeply troubling & so sad. Why did we fight & win WW2? And sacrifice so much? For this???!!!!

NEW: SCOTUS appears ready to give Trump greater firing powers, over sharp liberal warnings.

The Republican appointees are almost certain to overturn a 90-year precedent, as Trump wants. Pushing back, Sotomayor told DOJ: “You’re asking us to destroy the structure of government.”

They are such a huge part of the problem now. Guess money talks, so they keep enabling our abusive, maniacal President.

Great financial crisis? You mean when the housing market collapsed, banks went under, our GDP sank, the working class lost trillions in net worth and unemployment soared?

Seems like a repeat of the last time we tried to bully the world with isolationist tariffs.
