I think I've come to terms with the fact that I won't live to see Communism in my lifetime. This will take centuries of cultural and social change.
But I do think we can achieve socialism in my lifetime. Everyone having the right to what they need.
Slow growing tree is often the strongest.

marxist.com/venezuela-hu... I like to remind people that both Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez offered humanitarian aid to Katrina victims. Bush turned them both down. Hugo Chavez offered to send billions of dollars worth of oil to assist Katrina victims.

Venezuela was the first country to offer help to the United States in dealing with the effects of Hurricane Katrina. Chavez has offered money and personnel to help in the relief operations.

Finally finished it! And I consider this absolutely essential for any Marxist to read. If you truly take this struggle seriously, then you need to work through this book.
