I really really wish more people understood how toxic AI is. It's not taking over menial work so the human experience can be enhanced. It's poorly replicating work people actually *like* doing at a cost that makes its poor quality worth it to C Suites.

I wish we could go back to Gen AI not existing because I have fantasized about what video games entering public domain could mean since I was a kid and those dreams are just not possible in the world anymore and I hate that.

Admittedly I haven’t played them past 4 so I am talking ignorantly here but I feel like half the fun of Disgaea’s numbers getting obscenely big is that for the entire main campaign the numbers were small and like a normal JRPG. If they’re huge form the start (as in 6+?) that misses the fun!
