Northern Goshawk nests are difficult to find despite their enormous size because they don't want to be noticed. The location of this nest was shown to me by my magpie friends who made a huge fuss when they saw the hawk returning.

The long, thin Chesil beach, connecting Portland to the rest of Dorset. There is sea on both sides of the shingle beach, and there are heavy waves crashing on the left side of the spit of land. The beach is framed by one of the five Olympic rings erected high on Portland to commemorate the sailing events that were held here during the Olympics in 2102.
