Flexible/remote work is good, actually! When executives can’t make it work for their company, that’s a problem of leadership. Return to office mandates are about real estate costs and shitty bosses covering their asses - no matter what excuse they give. farmingdale-observer.com/2025/05/16/s...
Scientists have been studying remote work for four years and have reached a very clear conclusion: "Working from home makes us happier."
An Australian study, conducted over four years and starting before the pandemic, has come up with some enlightening conclusions about the impact of working from home. The researchers are unequivocal: ...

For decades, the GOP playbook hasn’t changed: cut, gut, or privatize Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Despite its popularity, they’ve just gotten sneakier about it.

Trump? He tried to slash them every year he was in office.

I don't always repost @ronfilipkowski.bsky.social, but I always read his posts and commentary. And you should, too.
Why? Because this is the agenda & narrative that CNN, Axios, Politico and other mainstream media want to set for Democrats over the next 3 years? Fuck that and fuck them. Don’t play their DC cocktail circuit game, because Americans care about things affect their lives right now.

@aoc.bsky.social calls out the Republican budget bill for what it is: "We are cutting money and health care from people and families who are suffering to pay for tax cuts for the rich.

Republicans are saying that these cuts will be reinvested into Medicaid for people who "deserve" it.

If that were true, the budget would stay the same. But that's not what's happening. Why?

Because down the hall, they are trying to finance tax breaks for billionaires.

It’s 2 am and we’re still marking up massive cuts to Medicaid.

While their constituents are asleep, Republicans are trying to take away health care from 13.7 million people to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.

They want you to tune out. Don’t ⬇️

This insane Politico column hailing Trump as the agent of his setbacks is interesting in that it doesn't even ask why Trump/Bessent ended up with a 30% tariff on China when Trump very publicly ordered a 50 or 80% tariff.

Not a whiff of curiosity abt what China did

This is why I believe it’s best to run campaigns based on bold, transformational change. You draw swing voters AND inspire new voters to get involved. It’s both good policy and politics!
Swing voters are often characterized as “moderate,” even though every election shows us more and more that they’re really “change voters.” They’re not loyal to any ideology, they want something different, because the status quo isn’t working.
