A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

ICE has now carried out two summary executions of innocent people in the streets of an American city.

If you work for ICE, there's no denying that's the mission you're supporting now. You don't get to claim in one year or ten or twenty that you didn't know what ICE was doing. You're complicit.

Trump also repeated his absurd “I stopped eight wars” lie in this letter. Has anyone ever asked him, point blank, to list these eight wars?

Members of Congress should be openly stating right now that military action against Greenland will result in impeachment and removal of the President and the Vice President.

/6 ICE is a monument to totalitarianism, lawlessness, and bigotry. It should be ripped out and woodchippered root and branch and replaced with something focused on the concept that you can’t defend the rule of law by burning it down.

I think the disconnect between Atlantic elites is that Americans think Donald Trump is a kid getting to drive a monster truck for Make A Wish and Europeans and Canadians think Donald Trump is the president of the United States.

whats missing from all the coverage is that the president is using the military to harass, brutalize and punish areas of the country that didnt vote for him

On Halloween night I set up my telescope in my driveway and showed Saturn to trick-or-treaters. As the night wore on I realized I could see at least four of Saturn’s moons. I’m not sure I’d noticed more than Titan before. To be fair I was usually looking at the rings, which are edge-on now.

It's not too late to support Cuomo.

He promised to move to Florida if Zamdani won. He probably needs help packing.

I had my Orion XT8 out on the driveway last night, showing trick-or-treaters the Moon and Saturn. I never get tired of hearing “whoooa!” and “Ive never looked through a telescope before!”

The Orion Nebula, shot with my iPhone 16 Pro through the eyepiece of a small refracting telescope. Why? Because I can! Honestly, it turned out better than I expected it would. This is a 30-second “night mode” shot.
