Wisconsin was promised millions of dollars to support our local farmers and producers and feed families across Wisconsin. The Trump Administration is once again trying to walk back support for farmers, and it couldnโt come at a worse time. It's just wrong.

My husband's boss was at a listening session with Rep. Grothman this week, and it was PACKED with rural Wisconsinites who are concerned. Grothman, of course, assured them all is well. There is a leadership vacuum -- and an opportunity -- here. You need to be much more visible!

Senator, we need MUCH more communication from you on the social media platforms where most voters are and by email. You need to explain clearly what's happening in Washington, what you're doing to stop it, and how your constituents can act to protect themselves and their democracy.

As a journalist who covers extremism at the local level, I think itโs a mistake to view Trumpโs Napoleonic statement as solely about presidential power. Consider if itโs interpreted as a wink and a nod for any extremist to act outside the law to โsaveโ the country as they see fit
