My most strongly held comics opinion (I hesitate to say "opinion," because it's a fact): lettering should be the first finished thing done, not the last. Done after (or along with) roughs and finalized before pencils. Pencils and inking should be done AROUND the lettering.

Dylan: It's heading towards that mausoleum! Panel 2: Griff and Dylan arrive to see the cloaked figure enter the mausoleum, which emits a bright red glow. Dylan: So that's where you've been hiding! Griff: Gotcha! Leave this to me. Panel 3: The door of the mausoleum is closed again and as Lydia looks down from it's roof, the others debate their next action. Griff is trying the door. David: Hold on, we don't know what danger we may be facing here! Amy: Maybe not... but we know this being will be in danger if we don't step up now!
