As many have pointed out, Mamdani didn't stand apart from our trans brothers and sisters. He didn't play the "Gee, gosh, it sure is complicated," milquetoast moderate card. And he crushed.

Game dev is so hard. I used to see new indie games come out and think things like, “Neat, maybe I’ll check that out!”

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

I did the new Longevity Tests from @schwarzenegger.bsky.social's #ThePump app yesterday.
Result: I'm gonna make it! ...Not that long based on how well I balance on one leg, but maybe a long time based on the other tests.
I need to check if I'm in the 1000 pound club this summer. Gotta be close.

Abandoned ice cream carts, fruit, and taco stands. Trucks with broken windows left in the middle of the streets. It’s the new reality ICE has brought to our beautiful city. This taco stand appears to have been hit last night, 6/27 in South LA by Florence and Gramercy.

Participated in a really fun #TTRPG skill-building session yesterday.
The idea: Improv performers use lots of techniques and exercises to hone their craft. Why not adapt them to tabletop and spend a few hours *practicing* the underlying skills that make famous DMs and players so fun to watch?
