My suspicion is that you’ve somehow run out of papers to grade, miss it, and so are trying to educate Bluesky. Now everyone’s mad.

The meetup was led by a guy who had been taking improv classes and was a longtime D&D player.
Most of the participants hadn’t tried improv before. Exercises where it was essential to mess up and be silly made that group come together better than any other session I’ve been to with randos.

In practice, I suspect considering how we should feel about a possible future does a lot of work toward making us feel that way.
But I hope there’s no final exam to verify the way I end up feeling is “correct.”
