🎅 Are you a mutual? Would you like a Christmas card this year? I like having an excuse to use my fancy stationery and I'm not great at making/maintaining friends, so I'd like to send you a card. Will need an address but I work in PR so you know I can keep that stuff private. 😉
Logan Paul got punched in the head so hard he started making LinkedIn posts.
damn that's crazy. do y'all think anyone else has ever thought of a red and blue remake that also includes the generations you do like but not the ones you don't like and has told the pokemon company to make that game in the past 30 years?

One of the WSJ's A1 stories today was reported *6 months ago* by @404media.co, a team of just four journalists.

Reading anything about execs managing tasks with AI just reminds me how my old job forced me to take video courses on how to write professional-sounding emails to people who invariably respond "thx"

Can yards in the Berkeley Hills be both fire-safe and beautiful?
As Berkeley Hills residents clear vegetation around their homes to prevent wildfires, they're developing a new landscape design paradigm.

Are you a real The Pitt fan if you aren't immediately picking up the book about the Freedom House EMTs?

More games should include a difficulty modifier called "my cat has never been shown affection once in their sad little life."

Very grateful for the holiday cards I received this year from friends. Y'all know your quality greeting cards.

This year, I promise to only share twitter screenshots if it's because the one thing we're all hoping happens actually happens. I reserve the right to include post-thing dunks of note.

Bay area friends, mask up and watch your exposure this month. I've been orbital strike'd by Flu A and it's an ass whooping you won't forget this year.

Schumer is the cousin who brings a bag of off-brand chips and five napkins to the family potluck, but no one has the heart to tell him to not come.
U.S. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who didn't endorse Zohran Mamdani for mayor, is expected to attend his inauguration at City Hall set to start shortly, per a source.

Schumer will be seated on the dais with other top pols.

When I was a toddler, I threatened to "run away" once a week. I made it as far as grabbing an empty backpack and putting on my shoes.

I didn't know how to tie my shoes so that was about as far as I ever got before bursting into tears.

Bought dad Chris Hayes' book on the attention economy for Christmas. Partially because tho my dad is a maga type, he reads a lot and has fallen prey to tiktok. Imagine my surprise when he finishes it in three days AND has left enough sticky notes with comments inside to noticeably bulk it up a bit

Starbucks is fine* if you're quickly passing through a strange suburb on a long trip, but they've long since made all their stores barren, chairless skinner boxes that urge you to GTFO rather than relax with a friend or book and God forbid build community.

Starbucks spent years trying to become an inescapable storefront on the streets of New York, Los Angeles and other big cities in America. Now that’s coming to an end. https://cnn.it/4q8AJ6D
