Our Pizza Hut reverted to classic style. Kinda. Down to the weird salad bar and buffet at lunch. Not the same without the lamps. @duckvalentine.bsky.social knows what I'm talking about

Reading American history will break your heart a thousand times but it will also fill you with such admiration and awe for all the people who were excluded from the protection of America’s founding principles and fought to promote, protect and expand them anyways

I keep clicking on Hamnet and then chickening out every time I see the kid in the trailer, even though I read the book 😭
2025 was an awesome movie year. I especially loved the "mom movie" trifecta of Die my love, Hamnet, and If I had legs.

Becoming a mother in 2025 was great in so many ways but I’m still too fragile to watch any of these

Beautiful verticality to get a defensive stop by BYU's Richie Saunders just now against a Baylor big man trying to finish.

"He's rich enough to afford to lose money on this" really doesn't go far enough. It's more like no conceivable WaPo-sized loss could ever be real to him. His wealth is a colossal perpetual motion machine that wouldn't be perceptibly slowed or dampened if WaPo never took in another dollar in revenue.
