Today, the EU has shown that we can deliver.

The Council reached a general approach on the safe third country concept and the first EU safe country of origin list. These are all measures that will help process claims more effectively and reduce pressure on asylum systems.

The @ec.europa.eu just adopted rules banning new multiple-entry visas for Russian nationals. From now on, only single-entry visas will be issued, with rare exceptions. The move aims to tighten security and pressure Moscow over its war in Ukraine but may be legally and politically problematic:
