The International Criminal Court is ditching Microsoft Office, saying it’s too dependent on US tech, in favor of Open Desk, a German open source alternative.

The move comes after Microsoft revoked ICC head Karim Khan’s email access when he was sanctioned by the US for the warrant against Netanyahu.

Seeing Running Man tonight - this year’s third Stephen King film. Luckily I have three kids I could talk into accompany me. I mismatched the first two (took the Tradie to Life of Chuck and the artsy academic to the Long Walk 🤦‍♀️) but I think I might be ok with this one - Quill likes action!

Chinese and EU emissions were more or less flat in 2025 (Chinese emissions may have actually declined slightly, but its too early to know for sure: www.carbonbrief.org/...).

US emissions increases drove much of the increase in global emissions in 2025.
