Musk is a sensitive little orchid and I wish more people would figure out that it’d be really easy to push him over the edge simply by being meaner to him.
He is not able to handle pushback, if it keeps up we may see him have a real mental break.

I'm getting a lot of freaked out late-night texts from my friends who are not experienced organizers, looking for advice on how to deal with the constant onslaught of bad news and how to make themselves useful. This is the advice I give.
Y'all pick a lane. Then make a little progress in your lane each day.
Every serious, experienced organizer I know is Doing Their Thing. Instead of freaking out about each bit of bad news, we're in our lanes rapidly building dual power infrastructure and networks that don't rely on the goverment.

I'm sorry it's like this, but the reality is that an all-consuming information machine where everyone spends six hours a day, and the messages that go viral are the ones that most effectively validate people's preexisting social resentments, is a machine for creating far-right mob rule.
I have a really hard time understanding people who genuinely think tools that make it possible for more people to speak and be heard are the number one thing killing Democracy.
Surveillance capitalism, sure.
