NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

At this stage it would make as much sense for it to devolve into a goth-versus-skinhead kind of discussion of skull symbols
anyway it is just fascinating that this has somehow become some proxy battle over “men” and “identity politics” where the critics represent “woke overreach” but as far as i can see it the strong attachment is pure identity politics! and i think the discourse would be better if people just said that

Also interestingly ironic is how the thread following this post absolutely reverts to a discussion of typology, masculinity and symbols rather than the central question about the candidate "on its own terms".
At least you tried, Jams.

It might be worthwhile referencing Australian Indigenous beliefs and practices regarding Dreaming stories of landscape, including inorganic elements and geoformations.
Although as I (poorly) understand it, the truths therein are reified through relations with landscape, not its inherent qualities.
I think it’s genuinely a thorny question, at which point if any consciousness emerges in a machine. I’m not really comfortable saying that it has to exist, but I’m also not really comfortable saying there is something ineffable about organic matter that can host consciousness that other matter can’t
what i did not expect re: "AI" is the number of people saying "i know exactly what consciousness is" before saying "and this isn't it." i believe in the second half of that sentence. i do not know why anyone would say the first.

You can't maintain your US lifestyle without buying most of your household goods from China.
Even Walmart is little more than an outlet for factories in Shenzhen.
You've larped yourselves into a client state, but with guns.
You were closer with "disdain". Too many decades of free riding. You were warned, long before Trump came along. And as Democrats mocked Mitt Romney (who would have made a fine President) for pegging Russia as a threat, Europeans were going all in on dependence on Russia for energy.

How far along the "athoritarian" spectrum does this sort of thing sit, Tom?
I guess at least the colleges still get to exist!

The most unflinchingly honest appraisal of the US electorate and the state of its democracy I've read so far.
It will surely end in tears.
And American voters will have no one to blame but themselves.

Paris has removed the paving from its city hall square and transformed it into an urban forest. Stunning! 🤩

I think that no matter what else happens in the next while, or even in the next 3.5 years, this picture will be used to sum up the entire legacy of the man.

Tired of winning yet, America?
Who would have thought a slapdash last-minute thrown together summit to distract from the Epstein files would be a complete and utter failure?

Re the Bradfield count, Giselle Kapterian may become the first person nominated to a front bench role unable to take up the position.
Started the day 12 votes ahead, now down to 3.
It must be horrible to be close enough to taste it but far enough away to feel the chill.

Bridget McKenzie's party currently boasts less than 29% women across House and Senate representatives. The Labor government achieved 57%, with 52% women in the Cabinet.
She has a hide like a rhinoceros.

The only thing holding this back will be Musk's insistence that he be the biological father of every baby born above quota
The Trump administration is assessing ways to persuade women in the U.S. to have more children, as a movement grows on the right to reverse declining birthrates and push conservative family values. Some pitched ideas include cash baby bonuses and menstrual cycle classes. nyti.ms/4jh3UAR
