I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.

18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

We made this website to tell our story:

Was quite the honor to talk with Marian, Lynette Woodard, Tamecka Dixon and others for this story.

Washington’s story is sometimes overshadowed by other pioneers of her time but there’s no doubt the mark she left on the game was indelible and the doors she opened were vital.
As Black History Month wraps up, we at No Cap Space WBB wanted to share a special Legendarium centered on Marian Washington, the first black woman to be a head women’s basketball coach and athletic director of a major Divison I university.

We humbly present: A Vision In The Phog.
The Legendarium: A Vision in the Phog
A special Legendarium for Black History Month centers one of the first ever pioneers of the game: Marian Washington. How her legacy lives on and can be carried into the next evolution of the game.

Happy National Peanut Butter Day!

People living on the East Coast generally prefer creamy peanut butter, while those on the West Coast prefer crunchy style.

It takes about 540 peanuts to make a 12-ounce jar of peanut butter.
