I do art things sometimes, sometimes make games, sometimes have a beard, often wears this hat, and doesn't understand your modern trends of pop culture entertainment.

Made a TTRPG! It lives here!

I miss enjoying technology. Before I feel like every smug turd in the world ruined it by making it a water and brain destroying bullshit engine.

Day and I spent our Superb Owl Sunday Evening doing...you guessed it. Playing NBA Jam Tournament Edition on the SNES and then Ice Hockey for the NES for no justifiable reason.

Oh, and I won every single time. No doubt.

I will not be taking follow up questions at this time.

So it's Black History Month and that means I think it's a good time to get familiar with Mike Pondsmith, if you're not already.

When you see R. Talsorian Games, that's him. When you see Cyberpunk 2077, that's his world.

Mekton, Castle Falkenstein, also him.

Seems like he is stepping down immediately by his own decision.

This doesn’t change my views on DT at all, as I don’t think it should others either. But good riddance to yet another stain this industry has platformed for far too long.

I am so tired of the people and miniscule nitpicking all pop culture to death anymore.

Seriously. Fuck you. If you don't like it, make something on your own. And I hope a hundred random people don't like how your main character eats noodles or wears a weird sweater and its a real bitching point.

Going through my league of comic geeks account for the first time in almost a decade, removing all the comics I dont have anymore, and sorta updating the want list of what I wanna read again to have an educated idea of what the hell I'm looking for at a store.

(SPOILER. Its a lot of x-men.)

Game 1 of 2026 was Slugblaster, by way of playing a Slugblaster Turbo one-shot.

Group was happy to be in 1987, experience high school bullying, tear through two alien dimensions, get duplicated by a green blob, and kick flip TWO quantum centipedes, respectively.

Reading 90s comics at insomnia o-clock.

Kinda refreshing in my old age to see past the youth envy/admiration of some artists and critically notice how awful some of this stuff is in terms of anatomy and proportions.

I mean, same with my stuff. Its just nice to see "the legends" fucking suck, too.

Removed FB from my phone and trying not to be on it for a week to save my brain.

The goal is to go longer, use discord, and better yet, unplug and work on analogue artwork, listen to mp3s on my old phone, and fix my brain.

Yes, its irony that this is posted on Bluesky, but, welp, what can you do?
