I will never, EVER, not be mad that "Potato aka Bulba" didn't even make it to Belarus' live national final, let alone to Eurovision. 2019 was desperately short on funny songs and this would've gone over HUGE in the televote.

I will never, EVER, not be mad that "Potato aka Bulba" didn't even make it to Belarus' live national final, let alone to Eurovision. 2019 was desperately short on funny songs and this would've gone over HUGE in the televote.

It took re-watching the performance to realize that it really was the vocals, especially on the chorus, that yanked "Run with U" down, cuz it's a frustratingly well-filmed entry for such a damp squib of a performance. The camera people were doing their damn job polishing up that turd.

I think the most frustrating thing about "What the Hell Just Happened?," or any attempt by the UK to send a West End act as their Eurovision representative, is they seem to forget there are actual talented musical theatre songwriters who ARE capable of writing good pop music.
