I played in this, it was great! Very smoothly run and helped us get up to speed with the system fast. Would love to see what a longer (but still short) miniphracts looks like.
Wrote up my experience running the first game of "miniphracts", which was just a very pared down version of the Vanguard ruleset over two weeks.

This is the thing you should be building today. Talk to your neighbors. Get a signal rapid response channel going. It's okay if it starts small. Have something ready that people can join when the need arises. Get the lines of communication open. That way, when ICE comes, you're ready.

Having seen several abductions up close, it is really hard to convey how much the thing they’re doing is roaming in military convoys until they see someone who is alone and isn’t white, and then jumping out in large numbers, pulling them into a van, and screeching off, all in 90 seconds or so.

I recently visited the Emergency Exits exhibition at the IWM, which focused on three of the four conflicts from our British Way boardgame multipack. It gave a great overview, and the style of presentation was very similar to Stephen's approach in the games, letting the events speak for themselves.

Some games I play and can immediately write about at SCM. They have a single, defining mechanism.
Other games are so elegantly interconnected with theme and mechanisms that it's hard to do them justice in ~1200 words. Much harder (for me) to write about.
Cross Bronx Expressway is one of those.
