"I did not think that the case could get worse than what I learned in 2009," Mitchell Epner, a former federal prosecutor who handed sex trafficking cases, told USA TODAY. "For the last 16 years, it has only gotten worse. ... They have exposed the victims and protected the perpetrators."
Officials say they want more Epstein accountability. What they can do
USA TODAY spoke to officials and victim lawyers about how Congress and the DOJ can bring transparency and accountability to the Jeffrey Epstein case.

‘They should not be anonymous. They should be identifiable. And they have to have rules of engagement that don’t allow them to terrorize and intimidate, harass and assault U.S. citizens and other people,”
We believe there are few investigations that deserve more sunlight and public scrutiny than this one, in which two masked agents fired 10 shots at Alex Pretti as he lay on the ground after being pepper-sprayed.

Tim Walz did a WSJ op-ed yesterday that I missed.
It debunks key lies:
>ICE said it was too busy invading to pick up child predator in Cottonwood
>MN has 207 non-citizens in jails, not 1360
>"Worst of worst" arrested by MN and turned over before invasion

‘You really can’t overstate how much the Founders worried about . . . exactly what we’re seeing in Minneapolis.’
New at The Watch:

I dug into archival witness accounts of the British siege of Boston prior to the American Revolution.

They are remarkably similar to what we're seeing in Minneapolis.

Bondi's letter—essentially offering to stop attacking and murdering citizens in Minnesota in exchange for the state's voter rolls—shows what Trump, Miller et al. are really after:

They want to fuck with the nation's elections so that they never have to cede power or answer for their crimes.
In the wake of another fatal shooting in Minneapolis.
AG Pam Bondi sends Gov. Walz a letter today making several asks including:

It is a Mar-a-Lago Club / Rose Garden Club inspired membership with ONE person collecting fees, ONE person being in charge with neither citizens nor leaders having ANY say about anything.

Let's keep our heads on a swivel. Please.
