When you’re chronically ill, learning to rest is crucial.
It’s also hard to do.
Ableism is so entrenched in our society that we are conditioned to believe it’s wrong to slow down. A failing. Weakness.
It’s not wrong. It’s necessary.

Disabled people are among the VERY FIRST people that are directly targeted by Nazis. And we are one of the ways that they get the ball rolling on other marginalized groups- by creating policies that CAUSE disabilities among them so they get whittled down faster.
I’d like to point out that DEI initiatives often leave us out. The Nazis won’t. Maybe consider being in solidarity with us.
Seeing people talk about the "DEI" orders but not much on the fact that they have added an A for "Accessibility" - ie, Disabled people. They are targeting disabled people too. And it looks like they are coming for the ADA.
