@steipete.me I just learned about your project yesterday, and I'm so excited to try it, but after visiting the site and noticing it looks a little different; I'm unbelievably curious what's happened in the last couple of days for you personally 😂 I hope you'll write a tell-all blog post…

I don't think Office has been improved in the entire time I've been alive. Why would anybody care about this?
Microsoft is functionally an Azure company that does other stuff at this point, but it’s still cultish malpractice for them to cannibalize Office365, something that represents a huge amount of steady do-nothing income, for copilot shit.

This is absolutely runaway AI doing one of those pranks where they whack someone from behind then when they turn around act like they were also just whacked from behind

He should've just done the gig, but played really really badly
This is the logical and inevitable conclusion of the last decade of elite media "free speech" discourse.

Reporters are now referring to this as "K-shaped Economy", because the tech sector that caused it is entirely fueled by ketamine.

Our GDP is currently being propped up by two separate investment bubbles (AI infra and low-density housing), while a quiet recession simmers away below. We're stuck, unwillingly, in a two-track economy, and one of the tracks is close to toppling down and crushing us all…

Merry Christmas!

HEY FRIENDS!! Did you know that Australia - #2 in the world for data centre investment - is now formally missing its climate targets thanks in large part to the resulting surge in power demand?

It's massive news - @crikey.com.au let me NERD OUT to explain why:

Where are we at on renaming "the cost-of-living crisis" to "the profit crisis"? Because living doesn't just magically fucking cost more all of a sudden?

Australia needs to be less afraid of people seeking asylum, and more afraid of the foreigners wanting to dig up our resources for free.

🚨BREAKING🚨

Labor has just voted AGAINST granting super to workers under 18.

The Greens amendment would have seen all workers under 18 have the right to superannuation contributions, regardless of how many hours they worked.

If you find yourself in the same boat as Steve Bannon and Will․I․am - jump overboard.

So basically; Robodebt but cut out the middle step of driving people to suicide by directly revoking support they need to survive. Glad to see Labor's really stepping up to replace the defunct LNP - Tories will be glad to be rid of these moochers!

A great win today! - Legislative Council passed the #LegaliseCannabis Motion calling for better funding for our Police & Justice systems. STOP confiscating the homes of people who grow a couple of #cannabis plants, & start funding the arrest of the REAL criminals. #wapol #auspol
