Reality check for Trump: if someone mistakes your pride and joy gold molding for the plastic trim in Home Depot’s bargain aisle, you did not land the luxury look you think you did.

Trump just looks like he’s spiraling at this point.

Most Americans agree we need to get money out of politics. If that takes a constitutional amendment, then that's what we have to do. And if that's going to take years, then it's all the more reason to begin pushing now.

The FCC's news distortion policy chills free speech, discourages broadcasters from covering controversial stories, and has been weaponized for partisan purposes. That's why former FCC chairs, commissioners, senior-level FCC staff are calling on the agency to "eliminate this dangerous tool entirely."
The FCC's News Distortion Policy should be rescinded

Everyday Americans get nickel and dimed while the rich dodge taxes.

They struggle to get by while the wealth of the 1% skyrockets.

They see their voices drowned out while the well-connected avoid accountability.

There are two sets of rules in America: One for the rich. Another for everyone else.

When Massachusetts passed a "millionaires tax" in 2023, conservatives claimed the rich would flee.

But two years later, they haven't — and MA has collected $5.7B for infrastructure and public education.

A reminder that positive change can still happen at the state level.

Haha bullshit. Trump pardons people all the time before “all avenues of appeal have been exhausted.” I do not believe this statement by Maxwell’s lawyer for one second. He also still hasn’t told me who waived her sex offender status, or whether she intends to be furloughed outside the facility.
In new statement, attorney for Ghislaine Maxwell:

"Maxwell has not requested a commutation - or made a Pardon – application to the second Trump Administration. Prior to any such application a prisoner needs to demonstrate that all possible avenues of appeal have been exhausted"

Thanks to the Texas Tribune, moderator Alejandro Serrano, and Reps. Vikki Goodwin, Nicole Collier & Donna Howard for a fun, thoughtful panel.

If you have never experienced recurring vertigo, consider yourself lucky & kiss the ground you walk on. It can be debilitating and downright depressing. Feeling like you're on a roller coaster - along with the nausea that accompanies - is miserable. Please have empathy for those that live with it.
Has anyone ever had vertigo and if so, what did you do to get rid of it?

Last week's elections showed the power of women voters, who delivered decisive wins for Democrats across the nation. Now, there's a surge in calls to repeal women's right to vote. Could this radical Christian nationalist agenda splinter the MAGA movement or pull them further toward extremism?

Senate Republicans don’t want to bring in Jack Smith to testify before the American people to ask him why he subpoenaed limited phone data on 8 co-conspirators to overturn the election, they just want a quick $1 million check from the taxpayers instead.

It’s not hard. They want to let them lie.

How are you going to vote on the moral issue of pedophilia, #RepKeithSelf? #Tx03. Your constituents are watching.
Texas MAGA Mouthpiece ⁦‪Rep Keith Self #TX03‬⁩ is among the most hypocritical “Christians” in Congress — and a coward of the highest degree.

He’s a good “soldier”, though. He says and does WHATEVER he’s told be his “leadership”.

Because he’s AFRAID of losing Trump’s enforcement.

Disgusting.
