Saw Diane Morgan is in the cast of VisionQuest and now all I want is an in-MCU series, "Cunk On Marvels", where she tries and fails to explain things like the Sekovia Accords and the Infinity Stones, and shares what her mate Paul thinks the Scarlet Witch's powers are

Cunk interviewing Nick Fury:
a woman in a plaid scarf is asking who are you and what 's your game ..

Funnily the next sentence from Horowitz is basically "But nobody ever asked my opinion about the movies so what do I care"

Also, this is nothing but "sources close to early production" and "one studio insider" which is to say, "none of these people have any idea what they're talking about"
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

The Walking Circulatory System was the real cause of the Edmund Fitzgerald tragedy. Here the chef is screaming “ARGGH FELLAS IT’S TOO ROUGH TO FEED YOU ‘CAUSE JESUS CHRIST WHAT IS THAT ARRRGHHH?!?!”

Fetterman, just the gift that keeps fucking giving
John Fetterman, Angus King, Maggie Hassan, Dick Durbin, Jon Ossoff, Jeanne Shaheen, Kirsten Gillibrand, Catherine Cortez Masto, Mark Warner, Cory Booker, and of course Chuck Schumer. Maybe others not top of mind. Not all responsible will publicly vote for the cave - that's not how this works.

Watched WEAPONS in 2 sittings and turns out the first hour doesn’t matter at all

I know bc M started watching an hour in and asked “So this is about a witch terrorizing a family?”

Yup that is the whole movie actually

Learning about the cop’s drinking problem adds literally nothing, turns out

THE BATMAN is damn good for the first couple seasons, not least of which bc it has a better handle on Penguin and Catwoman, two characters BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES never quite figured out

And also…hot damn, that theme song

Apparently Cameron Crowe has a new memoir out so it's time to once again state my position:

I THINK CAMERON CROWE IS A GENUINELY BAD SCREENWRITER AND HAVE NEVER ENJOYED ONE OF HIS MOVIES SO NO, I DO NOT THINK WATCHING *ALMOST FAMOUS* IS GOING TO SUDDENLY TURN ME AROUND ON THE ISSUE

I am 100% not picturing an adult's lunch box
Lairmore testifies that other agents gave him a plush sandwich toy, which he placed on the shelf in his office, and a patch that said "Felony Footlong," which he put on his lunch box.

Lairmore has chuckled with the rest of us at times. Defense really trying to underscore the unseriousness of it all

We live in the dumbest timeline.
The defense team presses Lairmore on whether the sandwich really 'exploded.' They return to the photo of the sandwich and wrapper on the ground.

"That sandwich hasn't exploded at all, has it?" defense asks.

"It looks like a little bit is coming out towards the bottom," Lairmore replies.

The collective global obituary on Dick Cheney will be “we thought he was the worst it got. We were wrong.”

I bet there’s a sizable subsection of Gotham City residents who were on the street at least one time the Batmobile got remote controlled by a supervillain and now their only opinion of Batman is he is a terrible driver
November 4, 2025 at 2:36 AM
KNIGHTFALL is an amazing story bc it’s set up all the dominoes so far in advance - over a year of Batman’s slow rolling burnout, Bane, Azrael’s training even though that ALSO doesn’t look great, Tim and Bruce’s fraying relationship - that there’s a great inevitability to the actual 12-part arc

can't believe outlets are running moral-panic headlines again based on flimsy anecdata from the *same* trade group (the national retailer federation) and sponsored by the *same* anti-theft company (sensormatic) that had to retract this *same* "study" just two years ago for being bogus.
