People bafly, badly need to learn to threat model.

Tom is 100% right here. Take sensible precautions to fit your threat model.

For the vast majority of us, Thiel or Musk having our SSN is not good, but also doesn’t really matter.
What's *your* point? That people should just accept that all their data is public property? Or that you should lose sleep over what Peter Thiel or Elon Musk is doing with your SSN?
Either way, you need to get a grip. Do what you can to protect your privacy in the electronic age, but don't panic.

Apologies don’t make things unhappen, and he’ll go right back to saying awful things and getting paid to do it.
Brian Kilmeade apologized for his comments about homeless people getting lethal injections this morning on Fox & Friends, saying "so many homeless people deserve our empathy and compassion."

Here's the clip of his apology 👇

Excellent thread.
Gonna write some brief troll mitigation tips for you all because like any successful, happy woman on the internet, i’ve had ‘em

Tips break down into two main areas:

1. Defensive tactics: how not to make it easy for them

2. Offensive tactics: fuck ‘em up

A Fox host, on the air, advocated for killing homeless people via lethal injection.

As some of you know, I was homeless for a while in my early 20s. I pulled myself out of it, but it was hard.

I don’t want to hear one more goddamn peep about people saying mean things about Charlie Kirk.
Brian Kilmeade endorses euthanizing homeless people: "Involuntary lethal injection, or something. Just kill them."
September 13, 2025 at 6:46 PM
Am I going to celebrate and meme about Charlie Kirk’s death? No.

Am I going to criticize those, many of whom suffered real harm in silence as a result of his rhetoric, who are doing so? Also no.

Remember, kids: A real big goal of "AI" is to entirely sever capital from labor, and no, there will be no universal basic income, you can all just starve and die, thanks

AI is already taking jobs away from entry-level workers
Software and customer service are most at risk right now and could be the canary in the coal mine.

This is right up there with the most callous things you can say at a time like this.

"God saved my kid, but he didn't like yours enough to save them."
Family member of survivor: “God was looking over him.”

Not really sure what that’s saying about the deceased.

These children died in pain and fear, sacrificed on the altar of this country’s sick obsession with guns.

They didn’t go on a happy field trip to see Jesus.

Trey Gowdy and his pinhead can fuck all the way off.
Fox News' Trey Gowdy: "The only thing that can give us any modicum of peace at all is those two children are with the person who loved them the very most, the person who created them, that being Jesus. That is the only thing that can possibly give parents in the future any modicum of peace."

The Roberts (although we should really call it the Trump) court does not care at all about stare decisis.

They will allow flag burning to be criminalized.

For supposed “alpha males” they sure are terrified all of the time.
Markwayne Mullin: "I'm not joking when I say this. I drive around Washington DC in my Jeep - yes, I drive myself - & I don't buckle up. The reason I don't buckle up - people can say whatever they want - is because of carjacking. I don't want to be stuck in my vehicle when I need to exit in a hurry."
