It’s hard to believe but there was a cartoon about an immigrant mouse and it was seen as totally fine and not controversial and not woke because it was an aspirational and nice thing about America that people could come here and find a better life

The eye exam is the perfect game design. That big E is a great tutorial that teaches you the basic mechanic. But it doesn't baby you and quickly gets hard as they introduce the small and blurry enemies.

AI companies absolutely take these types of "fines" into account when stealing copyrighted work - they're betting they can make more money off stolen work than they'll have to pay out in class action lawsuits.
I would be surprised if potential $ settlement figures weren't in their VC pitches.
