Remember the first few months of this year, when all we talked about was DOGE and spending cuts and waste, and this administration gutted USAID?

And now they’re giving $40 billion (!) to Argentina.

Insane the amount of amnesia in this country and in our politics and media.

Trump's diatribe was rooted in eugenic conspiracy theories aimed at eliminating autistic individuals, like myself. Fuck right off.

Much more of this. The NHS argument is an effective one; not only does it point out the very real impact Reform's policies would have, but it also humanizes migrants as real people (i.e., treating you at hospital), rather than speaking of them as a singular mass of figures & fiscal/economic costings
Reform’s immigration plan falls apart on hard contact with evidence, economics and any form of engaged brain. Never be afraid to stand up for this country and its decency and future by giving them short shrift.

...lose contact with reality...
“Even for Donald Trump, this was not normal. It was not normal for the UN General Assembly. It was not usual for any world leader, elected or not – dictators usually take decades to lose contact with reality in the way Trump appeared to have done today.”
Trump’s UN speech was unhinged even by his standards
Trump has made his own unreliability - and that of America - impossible to ignore or deny

Stephen Yaxley-Lennon being deported twice in 24 hours - first from Colombia, then from Panama - because he’s deemed a national security threat, just a week after he led a march calling for migrants to be deported, is the kind of schadenfreude we can all savour.

⚠️This is the Jimmy Kimmel monologue that got his show pulled.

Not hate. Not celebration of death.

Just the truth: Republicans rushed to blame the left before any facts about the shooter or motive were known.

Keep sharing it. Spread the truth.

The news media gave almost zero coverage to the Remain marches even though they were far larger than the Musk-Yaxley-Lennon march.

The overwhelming majority of British media is paving the way to to-Russian fascist rule.
The far-right mob in London paled into insignificance compared to our Remain marches. Especially the one in 2018. Between 700,000 and a million people turned out. The Labour front bench stayed away. They also ignored its message. But the voters who took part in it haven't disappeared.

Yes

Now will someone tell Starmer and McSweeney please, as in, shout it loudly in their ears!

Sick of the pandering. Tell the real story of why we need immigration. Without it the Care Home industry and the NHS would grind to a halt, literally
It didn't work out for me in the race to be deputy leader, but given events today, am sharing this again.

We in Labour are uniquely placed to bring our diverse country together against the forces of hate. When we stand up for each other, we all win.

We can never give in to the forces that would divide us and send us backwards.  The answer is the Labour winning over a broad coalition for our future.
