* in general, representatives get few calls
* 20-30 calls could get them to do something

Don't necessarily need a lot of people. Just need enough people willing to do the work.
I recently reposted a former congressional staffer who said that when an issue got 20-30 calls it would get representatives freaked out and ready to do something. It takes less than you’d think, because so few people actually take that kind of action

50 ICE agents swarming a public library to arrest one person.

This isn’t policing — it’s authoritarian spectacle.
Armed intimidation, fear as policy, and taxpayer money burned to terrorize communities.

This is fascism in plain sight. #TrumpWatch #Resist

The brain has its own way of protecting itself from Alzheimer’s, yet that system weakens with age.

A Yale study reveals how the brain manages calcium levels tied to dementia and how this defense changes over time. The findings suggest new directions for supporting brain health later in life. #Yale

If refusing to comment is enough to kill a story, then the government now has veto power over journalism.
That’s what CBS normalized last night — and it should scare everyone.

Trump’s promise Wednesday to pay troops a “warrior dividend” bonus is actually a military housing stipend already approved by Congress, and not a generous new White House program.

How many Americans carry their passports EVERY time they leave the house?

More importantly, do we want America to be a country where police can stop anyone at any time and demand their documents and arrest them if they don't produce them?

That's what life was like in Russia when I served there.
