Fandom needs interaction to thrive, if u want to keep enjoying art, fic, edits, animations, silly little hcs, and all of that gud stuff, give some of the love back that creators pour out for you, fandom shouldn't be /content/ to mindlessly consume, let it be a dialogue of love and appreciation 🙏✨❤️

I think a big fandom shift in interacting with stuff has gone from people commenting under the created thing whether it be fic or art to people linking it in private discord groups where the person who made it will never see any positive comments left on the thing they made.

A sketchy drawing of my OC Ashton (human). His has a distinctly 70s longish curly hairstyle and sideburns and is wearing a pullover sweater over a checkered shirt and plaid bellbottoms. He is crouched and smiling, exposing his prominent teeth, but he is hiding his own eyes rather playfully behind an abstract drawing of a pair of eyes. The drawing is dingy and dark, mostly greys with pops of primary yellow, red, and blue in specific places like the eyes, teeth, nose and design on his sweater which is also an abstract smiling face.
