I'm pretty sure I know. They aren't. We're not going to really be able to make a lot of progress in dealing with the implications of this tech unless and until we get rid of all this "woo-woo" talk about LLMs. Anthropic pushing this line is PR, unserious.

Its really not a coincidence that all of these arguments and cherry picked scary examples by hype men are coming abruptly after it was revealed sora and anthropic are hemorrhaging money at historic rates

If I had a billion dollars I’d:
-Set up home caring for abused and displaced children.
-Start up group homes for children instead of the abusive foster system.
-Set up support centers for trafficking victims.
-Create scholarships for abused and homeless children to go to college.

- Construct housing complexes for vulnerable and/or displaced people
- Set up a bunch of small clinics
- Buy some busses and hire drivers to run free routes
